"NaNoWriMo?" Is That Even English?

Well, it's almost August. It's probably time to prepare--or panic--because NaNoWriMo is just around the corner!

It happens every November; hundreds of thousands of people from around the globe sit down at their laptops, type writers, and notebooks, and they do something amazing... they write. The goal? 50,000 words into an original work of fiction in 30 days. Is it possible? SO possible! I've done it three years in a row, and actually reached that goal last year! And I'll be doing it again this year.

It's a great way to get that nasty first draft out of the way so you can start editing it and sending it out to people who might be interested in what you wrote!
